Improved blood circulation in autistic children could help with a number of issues

Supporting brain health is important for everyone but especially our kids with autism. Research has shown that people with autism have unstable vessels in the brain which prevents the proper delivery of blood flow. Furthermore, studies in postmortem autistic brains suggest excessive blood vessel growth in the brain. In addition, brain imaging techniques show differences in blood flow between autistic people and controls.  (tacanow.org)

There is something to the saying from the past “you are what you eat.” If we eat healthier foods, our bodies will be healthier. I’m not saying that we will overcome a born disease, however it’s not far fetched. Plants are able to heal themselves in the forest. They absorb natural sunlight release carbon dioxide and are able to repair themselves.

Due to my love of science, along with taking it as a minor for my Masters, I can’t help but strongly feel we can arrive at the same results through eating healthier. In my opinion, no autistic child should be given sugars and unhealthy fats.

Green leafy vegetables ( Spinnach, Kale, Collards, Mustard greens, Swiss Chard, Bok Choy).

Eggs

Fish loaded with Omega 3’s ( Cod, Salmon, Tuna, Haddock, Mackerel, Sardines, Tilapia) do not consume too much tuna. It contains Mercury.

Free range or pasture raised Chicken

Quinoa (lean protein)

Buckwheat (lean protein)

Zinc.

This would promote better cognitive function, behavioral health, and a stronger immunity.
